“This is my dream trip – several rides from one location and then into Yosemite.”
- K.A.

Hi Nikki and Dan!
I had so much fun on this week's Yosemite ride. I'm quite amazed with myself. I enjoyed that you had everything so well planned. Having a support vehicle was a nice experience!
- L.H.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I need to be there?

Registration and check-in will be after 3:00pm the first day listed for each ride. A campsite and dinner will be provided for you that night.

What do my fees include?

Dinner on registration day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner each day of the ride ending with lunch on the final ride day. Also included are your route sheets, SAG support, camping fees, gear transport, showers and toilets, vehicle support and rest stops.

What do I need to do if I have to cancel?

Contact us, in writing, as soon as possible. Email is adequate. See the cancellation policy section.

Is this a camping or a lodging tour?

This is a camping tour.
A list of motels in the communities where we will be staying will be sent to you in the confirmation packet. Not all communities have motels. Camping may be the only option. We can shuttle you to your motel.

What do I need to bring?

A suggested list of “what to bring” will be sent to you upon acceptance of your registration. Briefly, your camping equipment, cycling clothes and gear, non-cycling clothes, personal toiletries, and bicycle in good mechanical condition.

Can I ship my bike?

If you are interested in shipping your bike please contact us for more information.

What kind of roads can I expect?

We try to select good, paved road surfaces through rural countryside to avoid high traffic areas. Sometimes this is not possible and you will be riding through town or on more heavily traveled roads.

What weather can I expect?

We try to choose the ride to match good weather patterns. However, there may be rain, heat, cold, headwinds and tailwinds.

What will be expected of me?

You will set up and take down your tent each day. You will bring your equipment and luggage to the truck to be loaded. You will bring your bicycle in good working condition. You will enjoy meeting new people. You will have fun.

How long is each day’s ride?

The average distance per day is 50 miles.  However, the distance can range from 35 to 80 miles.

Where can I store my vehicle while I’m off riding for the week?

We arrange for a place to park your vehicle depending on the area we ride in.  Most times we are able to arrange for parking at the first night’s campground.

Travel insurance is optional and available to cover some unforeseen cancellations or emergencies. In an effort to plan for unexpected personal emergencies, health issues, weather, and transportation problems that might cause you to cancel or shorten your event, travel insurance is strongly advised.

Please consult your insurance agent about cost and coverage.
